This is a one-year ACGME-accredited program. The goal of this program is to promote excellence in Hospice and Palliative Medicine education and clinical care, to develop future leaders in the field, and to ensure that patients with life-limiting illness receive informed, professional, and appropriate care.

We are currently recruiting for one candidate for the pediatric track. Trainees will work with services at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis Children’s Hospital, and Evelyn’s House to prepare for a career in Hospice and Palliative Medicine.

Our highly-qualified interdisciplinary teams (adult and pediatric) include physicians, nurse practitioners, social workers and chaplains. Fellows will be eligible to obtain board certification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine at the completion of their training.

We will offer our trainees a diverse educational experience, including both outpatient and inpatient clinical teaching, didactic teaching, research opportunities, resiliency and leadership training, and communication skills.
