Jonathan Mullin, MD
Associate Professor of Pediatrics
Jon Mullin, MD, is an associate professor of pediatrics at Washington University School of Medicine. Originally from Cincinnati, he earned his bachelor’s degree at Washington University in St. Louis and his medical degree at Case Western Reserve University. He completed his pediatric residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital and fellowships in both hospice and palliative medicine and bioethics at Harvard Medical School. He is director of the Hospice & Palliative Medicine Fellowship Program at Washington University School of Medicine, Barnes-Jewish Hospital and St. Louis Children’s Hospital.
Mullin practices as a pediatric palliative care physician, with an expertise and focus on end-of-life care in pediatrics, care of children with serious illness and medical-decision making. He also serves as co-director for the clinical skills portion of the Gateway Curriculum, and oversees communication skills education at the medical school. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking, travel, and sports, and spending time with family and friends.
